Hmm....how do I begin to talk about what a fun day we had shooting Katie and Mike's intimate wedding. Katie is from Boston, Mike is from here, but they met while volunteering in the Peace Corps 4 years ago in Grenada. Yes, their families joked. . you were in paradise, but either way Katie and Mike were making the world a better place and all I can say is that I admire that. Katie and Mike and their families are one of our favorite couples we've ever photographed. They made us feel right at home, were completely laid back and so much fun.
As you can see we started out the day with Katie getting her hair done at Vain downtown. We then headed to their apartment and yes that is where Bryan got one awesome and very funky dress shot. And isn't the photo right below, the "Andy Warhol Katie" just awesome? We were able to go to so many fun and funky locations with them. It was then off to the Ballard Locks for a small and gorgeous ceremony . .and then off to the wonderful Italian Restaurant Gaspare's . .who closed their doors for the evening for their small reception. We got to order our own meals off of the menu and I tell you . .if you want good Italian - go there . it rocks.
