The beautiful and fun couple of Didi & Harlan got married on a beautiful day in Seattle at the gorgeous St. James Cathedral. We started out the day by spending it with them getting ready at the Pan Pacific Hotel (and also the location of their reception) and then headed to St. James to do the first look between Didi & Harlan and some portraits. Didi had wanted to wait to see Harlan until the ceremony, but she also wanted to take advantage of the beautiful interior of St. James, and aren't the photos inside their just beautiful? I love the one of Didi solo . .the group portrait and the one of them kissing in front of the gold wall with candles lit.
They got married in a smaller side chapel at St. James which I thought was very quaint and pretty. I love the new tradition of both the mom and dad walking their daughter down the aisle and I thought Harlan stepped it up a notch when he threw Didi back for their first kiss! It was then off to Pan Pacific, but not before we snapped some gorgeous photos of them in their classic car. We had some fun with some group portraits and I also love the photo of Didi & Harlan kissing in the chairs with the dogs behind them - how quirky and fun. For their reception, they named their tables after places that had meant something to them and they have a lot of family from Guam and Hawaii. In fact the band that played later in the evening played great Hawaiian music and sounded as good as any song I've ever heard played on the Islands! Before we left, we captured a few more photos of them and I love the vantage point the Pan Pacific has from the space needle - just gorgeous!
