Well on a beautiful summery day, we set out to shoot Jeff & Sarah's post shoot. We had intended to shoot it in May, but while on their honeymoon . . Jeff broke his foot . .which was especially no fun as they were in turkey and he got what he called a "tiny tim" crutch. It actually worked out perfect as they wanted something different and we thought . .hey why not shoot in Olympia and also shoot with our annual fair. We started off in late afternoon walking around to a bunch of spots and aren't the shots at the artesian water well with the crazy guy with the orange street cone just too funny? I love both the funky and very pretty alley shots we got. And isn't the photo of Sarah and Jeff in the store window just amazing? Sarah is a perfect mannequin and I love that shot. It was then onto the fair for some fun on the merry go round (yes we meant to show it to you in black and white and in color for variety) . . they borrowed a big stuffed banana for some fun poses, ate cotton candy and had way too much fun in the funhouse itself. I think my favorite shots of the night simply has to be the one of them kissing with Jeff with his sunglasses on with the ferris wheel behind them . .it's just so pretty. And a thank you to Jeff who took the cool picture of them on the ride, Bryan quickly guessed the perfect setting and Jeff got a great photo of them kissing.
Lastly I had to say it was funny to walk around a fair with a couple . . they had so many people ask them if they had been married that day at the fair and rather than explain over and over again, they just said yes . . we just love the fair and had to be married today . too funny!
